Calexico will return to Glastonbury this year to play the Park Stage!

SPIRITOSO will be released on limited edition vinyl for RECORD STORE DAY 2013 on April 20th.  The album includes songs from ALGIERS as well as the Calexico catalog recorded live in Germany in June 2012 with the Radio Symphonic Orchestra Vienna and the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg.  Find your local participating record store here and check out the recording of “Para” in the video below:

Today we are excited to announce that Calexico will be playing a short headline tour in North America in June.  These dates will include previously announced festivals BONNAROO, WAKARUSA and NELSONVILLE.

Calexico will play the FESTIVAL EN EL BARRIO to benefit KXCI Community Radio again this year with Rebirth Brass Band, our own Sergio Mendoza Y La Orkesta, Heartless Bastards and more.  The event will take place Sunday, March 24th beginning at 1PM in El Presidio Neighborhood near the Tucson Museum of Art.  Calexico has played this benefit every year since 2001!! Tickets available HERE now.

You can now download “Fortune Teller” from the band’s recent World Cafe performance.  The song is from a new, free collection of Cafe performances available for a very limited time during the month of February.  Each weekday during the month World Cafe will offer one free song from a recent session, however the collection will only be available until March 1st.  Go here to download tracks from Lord Huron, Allen Stone and others.

Calexico will be returning to New Orleans to play New Orleans Jazzfest this year!  The band plays Sunday, April 29th.  Tickets are on sale now here.
