Calexico is very excited to be heading to Urbana-Champaign, IL for ELLNORA 2011!

The band’s performance is on Saturday, September 10 at the Krannert Center and they are honored to be sharing festival stage with Richard Thompson, Robert Randolph, and many more.  See you there!

Sacred Machine Museum in Tucson will be showcasing a behind-the-scenes photographic exhibition on Calexico starting on September 8, 2011 and running through October 23.

Curated by Paula Catherine Valencia and featuring additional art by Daniel Martin Diaz, we are honored to be featured. The exhibit is in participation with the Tucson Museum of Art event Tucson Rocks. If you’re in Tucson be sure and check out both exhibits!

We’ll be playing a special show in Tucson on September 4th. Night four of HoCo Fest 2011 – the night will benefit our good friend Craig Schumacher who has recently been battling cancer. All proceeds for the night will go to Craig for treatment and hospital costs.
